Year 12 – Charcoal studies

Year 12 have made a great start to their charcoal studies, focusing on mark-making and texture. They have really enjoyed experimenting with different marks and techniques while exploring ideas linked to the theme ‘Mechanical Botanical’. It has been lovely to see their creativity and enthusiasm developing, and this work gives them an exciting starting point as they continue to build on their ideas and explore the theme further.

Year 10 – Observational Sweet Studies 🍬

Year 10 have made a wonderful start to their sweet wrapper studies, carefully observing the twists, folds, light and shadow. They have been experimenting with different drawing techniques and building confidence in capturing what they see.

It has been lovely to see their enthusiasm and creativity coming through in their work, and we’re really pleased with the progress they are making. We look forward to sharing more of their fantastic studies in the next few weeks!
