Careers Education at Presdales
We would like to take this opportunity to direct you to the Careers page on our school website. There, you will find our Careers Plan for the current academic year, which outlines our commitment to helping students take the next steps in their education and career journeys.
We also offer opportunities for parents and carers to get involved, including:
Unifrog – The Complete Destinations Platform
As part of our commitment to providing exceptional careers guidance and personalised support for students as they explore their next steps after school, we are proud to use Unifrog – an award-winning online destinations platform.
All students from Year 7 to Year 13 have access to Unifrog, where they can explore career pathways, university courses, apprenticeships, and more. The platform also helps students build essential skills, track achievements, and make informed decisions about their future.
We encourage parents and carers to get involved too. You can create your own Unifrog account, giving you insight into the opportunities available and enabling you to support your child throughout their journey.

The Career Discovery Network
You are invited to participate in a voluntary community project, intended to help young people discover the wide range of careers, jobs, industries and workplaces that are available to them.
Young people are often asked what they want to do when they grow up, but it is difficult for them to choose a career when they have limited visibility of what jobs exist, outside of their immediate network.
The attached form asks you to share details of your job. It will take one minute to complete. You are then encouraged to forward this cover note and accompanying link to your network. Consider forwarding to all friends, family and colleagues. The more varied people and professions represented within The Career Discovery Network, the wider the world of opportunities we can open young people’s eyes to.
Thank you for helping to make the world of work a little bigger and more visible to the next generation.
You will receive access to the network when you have completed your submission.
