Elektra/Persona A Level Theatre Trip

On Wednesday 16th September, Year 13 A Level Drama and Theatre students attended a matinee performance of Elektra/Persona at the National Theatre, London. The production was a double bill which combined these two separate performances into one. There was lots of anticipated things to look forward to such as the casting of Cate Blanchett who the class reviewed to be a phenomenal actor! As well as the fact that her and Nina Hoss flip a coin at the start of the production to decide which role they will play that performance, very impressive! The persona half used very interesting technology and will provide a fantastic source to analyse for their exam questions.

The students were a pleasure to take to the theatre and we thank Mrs Albone for joining us for the day also.
