We have run two very successful printing workshops this term. The Year 11 learnt the process of mono printing producing a vast amount of exciting prints for their sketchbooks.
The Year 13 learnt about procion dye prints using a screen and squeegee. The results were beautiful and will now be developed using further media.
All students acted maturely and were inquisitive about learning more knowledge about the techniques.
Year 12 Art / Photography students were a pleasure to be with and all inspired by the vast collection of prints, photography, paintings collages, sculpture and architecture. Do go and see the exhibition if you get a chance.
Could not be prouder of our lovely Year 10 on a trip to Cambridge on Tuesday! Lots of inspiration for the new project over summer! Well done guys!
Year 9 are producing such exciting , experimental photographs. This week we were inspired by the photographer ‘Emily Blincoe’ and her Flat lay photos. Year 9 set up Flat lay compositions thinking about colour, texture and layout.
The previous week, Year 9 took very impressive product photos creating mood and creative aesthetics.
We are so impressed by you you all Year 9 ⭐️.

Year 7 have shown amazing enthusiasm and talent designing their bookmarks. They have taken part in a series of lunchtime workshops on watercolour and fine liner techniques.
It has been such a pleasure working with the polite and highly motivated students. Many of the Year 7 are excited about giving their beautiful bookmarks for presents and using them during form reading sessions.
We had a fantastic amount of interest in our Year 7 Art club this term. So to be fair to all students, we have decided to swap the group after half term. The date to sign up shall be announced in Art lessons.
