Massive well done to the U13 Cricket team who have won the U13 Chance to Shine Cricket Competition.
Some excellent cricket throughout the day. They beat Simon Balle, STAGS, Beaumont and drew to Katherine Warrington. We won our group so went through to the final to play the winners of group 2. We then went on to beat them by 9 runs!! Well done girls what an excellent day!!
Calypso Cricket
Congratulations to the Year 8 and 9/10 Calypso cricket teams who both came out victorious at their recent tournaments. The Year 8’s were undefeated all day and the 9/10 team only lost one game. They were involved in an intense ‘bowl off’ for first place which they won thanks to an excellent ball by Chloe Evans! Well done to all of the girls for working so hard in such hot conditions.
Star Player for Year 8 was Charlotte Wilson for continued progress throughout the tournament and Star Player for Year 9/10 was Georgiana Fowler for her hat trick of wickets against Freman College.
