Year 7 have been exploring colour mixing. They have learnt how to identify Primary, secondary and tertiary colours and mix and blend complementary/Harmonious colours using colour pencils. We are currently learning about warm and cool colour palettes using ‘Op ‘Art patterns. Well done Year 7 some wonderful Colourful cheerful work. Year 12 and 13 photographers have been working hard to produce these highly original outcomes. Your work continues to wow us! Keep it up! They were amongst 20 young artists to have their work selected for the Royal British Artists’ ‘Young Star Students 2021’ awards. Their work is currently showcased online. https://www.rosl.org.uk/starstudents2021 The work will also be available to view on the Mall Galleries London website in the near future. Unfortunately, due to restrictions this year the work will not be in the galleries as usual. We are all very proud of the fantastic work these students have produced.
