Year 10 Print Workshop
The Art Department had a highly successful Year 10 print workshop on Wednesday 5th February. The students demonstrated enthusiasm, dedication, and outstanding motivation throughout the day. They deepened their knowledge of lino printing using chine-collé and enriched their portfolios.
Linocut, also called lino print, lino printing, or linoleum art, is a printmaking technique similar to woodcut. It involves carving a design into a linoleum sheet, removing the areas that will not be inked, and then applying ink to the raised, uncut surfaces for printing. Below is a selection of their fantastic lino prints.
Well done, Year 10!
