Amazing playing by both teams – well done!
Well played to the Year 7, 8, 9 and 10 rounders teams who played Chauncy last Wednesday. The 7’s won 13&1/2 – 7. Star Player was Olivia H. Year 8 lost 6 and a half to 8. Player of the Match was Lois Q. Year 9 won 11 – 8. Star Player was Anna S. And the 10’s lost 7 and a half to 11 and their Player of the Match was Olivia H. Well played to all our students!
Well done to the Year 10 rounders team who won 10 and a half – 9 rounders this week against Leventhorpe! Player of the match was Rosie Martin!
The Year 7 and Year 8 rounders teams played against Broxbourne last night. Some excellent batting and fielding by both teams with stand out catches from Olivia R and Amy!
The Year 7’s won 16 – 6 1/2 rounders and Star Player was Amy L. The Year 8’s unfortunately lost SO closely with a score of 17 1/2 – 17. Well done to Star Player Lois Q.
Athletics
Well done to the athletes who took part in the 3rd Athletics County League last week at Stevenage. The girls did extremely well with the U14 team coming 1st overall and the U16 team coming 3rd!
