Our Year 10 GCSE Food Preparation and Nutrition students were very busy last week making and decorating their Gingerbread houses – many commented on the wonderful smell in the D&T area. It was a very enjoyable challenge, if a little stressful at times! The students were amazing and are rightly proud of their creative accomplishments. It was also lovely to see that students were happy to help each other put the finishes touches to their masterpieces!

Well done to all our students with special commendations to Jessica McAllister, Megan Marriott and Emma Butterfield.

In the last week of this term the students have been discussing what it means to be a part of the Presdales Community as part of their SMSC activities. Students from 7SR decided to make a paper chain where each link of the chain represents a reason why communities are important and what being a part of Presdales School means to them.

In Year 8, students have been collecting food items and gifts to make into hampers for families in Hertford who have been struggling during and after the pandemic. Each form has been given a family that they provide a hamper for and have been bringing in donations to help them. You can see some of their hard work in these pictures.
