Football
Well done to the U16s football team who won 7-3 against Haileybury in a friendly on Thursday evening. The Presdales team was largely comprised of Year 9 and Year 10, versus a Haileybury team of Year 11s and Year 12s. Presdales also played the entire second half with only 10 players so this makes a convincing win even more noteworthy.
The girls dominated the match throughout leading 4-0 at half time. A few positional changes – to give the girls experience of playing in different areas – and being a player down saw Haileybury come back in the second half but Presdales were always in control and could have scored even more goals.
A great performance by the entire team. POTM as voted by Haileybury was Eva C, who made a ‘worldie’ of a save that any Premiership keeper would be proud of! Goals from Amber L x 2, Jess D, Maia K, Rimini L, Amber M and Maisie J.
Well done girls!
