Hockey
Last week the Under 14 Hockey team played in the County Cup Hockey semi final and final at Queenswood.
We played against RMS in the semis. The girls were amazing, great movement on and off the ball, accurate passing and 4 great goals (2x E. Macrae, M. Ker) taking us through to the final against the winners of Queenswood and Parmiters.
40 minutes later and we were getting ready for our match against Queenswood’s A team. The girls started strong and at half time we were 1 – 0 up with a great goal from Georgiana Fowler. The second half bought more of the same, a couple of great saves from goalkeeper Ruby Conner from some short corners. To finish, a great run from the half way line from Alice Lynn to put in a second goal on the final whistle!!!
So so so proud of all of the girls… a great win to become U14 County Champions!! So well deserved!!

Football
U14s
Well done to the U14s football team who won 6-4 in an 11 a Side friendly against Chauncy last Wednesday. This was a combined Year 8/9 team with the Year 8s experiencing their first match on a full size pitch.
The girls got off to a flying start with Lali L scoring a wonderful solo goal in the first 2 minutes. The girls dominated the first half leading 4-1 at half time with goals from Maia K, Darcy B and Anastasia M.
In the second half, Chauncy cane back into it with two well worked goals to reduce the lead to 4-3. Presdales then found a second wind and scored two further goals, both fantastic long range shots from Eva D and Georgiana F. The game ended 6-4 to Presdales. An excellent contest between two good teams. Well done girls! Coaches POTM were Lali L and Bella H.

Huge congratulations to these amazing athletes in Year 8/9! Last Thursday they competed in a new event, the indoor athletics ‘Academy Cup’ where schools across the County competed at Lee Valley Athletics Centre.
