Well done to both the U14 and U16 badminton teams who played against Chauncy last week. Both teams played a combination of singles and doubles matches and some excellent shots were played. Netball
Well done to the Year 7 and Year 9 netball teams who played Simon Balle last week!
Year 7’s won 16-2 and the Player of the Match was Hannah McGowan. Brilliant defence to stop them scoring and excellent shots scored when given the opportunity!
Year 9’s won 19-14 and the POTM was Tonye Ikeyina. Such a close game, the girls were losing and brought it back in the last 2 quarters to win! Amazing determination girls!
Year 9
Well done to the Year 9 netballers who won 31-2 against John Warner this week! You all demonstrated such versatility to play in so many different positions. Player of the Match was Alexia Mills.
Year 10/11
Well done to the year 10/11 netball team who played against a strong John Warner senior team on Tuesday. Unfortunately we lost 34-20 but was an excellent team effort from you all! Star player was Ella Gardner.
Football
Well done to our U16s Football Team who reached the semi final of the Hertfordshire County Cup today with a 4-2 win against St Edmunds College!
The goals were shared 2 goals apiece by Amber Madell and Rimini Lowe. It was a competitive match but two late goals for Presdales sealed a well deserved victory.
The girls played their hearts out, and should feel proud of this achievement. Star Players were Rimini Lowe and Amelie Powis who were outstanding throughout. Good luck in the semi-final girls!
