Careers in the Curriculum
Last week, we had Bradley Lucas come in from Seen Services based in Ware to talk to one of our Year 10 GCSE business classes. Bradley is an entrepreneur who has built his business over the last 10 years. He talked about his story, the risk and rewards of being an entrepreneur and how he has grown his business. The talk and activities that he ran were really inspiring and all the students had a chance to ask questions and get an inside view on what it takes to start, run and grow a business from scratch.
Student comments from the talk included:
‘The talk was really informative. It was good to look at issues from an entrepreneur and problems and solutions from a business perspective.’
‘Bradley’s story was really relatable and it was inspiring to hear about his realistic ups and downs.’
‘Bradley gave us some great info and tips on business and not only becoming an entrepreneur but how to get into business and what he would look for from a candidate.’
