We were delighted with the wonderful work by Year 9 art students showing a variety of exciting experimentation and intricate detailed studies. We are looking forward to their art exams also based on flight creating surreal boxes and mobiles.

We were delighted to welcome back one of our former students ‘Anesu Mande’. Our Year 7 found her assembly so exciting and were full of interesting questions as she spoke about her journey since leaving Presdales. Anesu has a very successful career in the modelling industry traveling all over the world.

We are so proud of her achievements and wish her the very best in Miss Universe Great Britain. The Art department cannot wait to see her again in September to talk with our sixth form photography students about skills to improve photo shoots.

I couldn’t resist taking a photo of Anesu in front of her section of our Instagram Wall of past students careers in the Creative Arts. A very exciting visit. Thank you.

Exciting project

Watch this space for updates to see our old wooden pergola transform. It already looks so much better after the black wood stain. An exciting project with Year 9 and a local mosaic artist starting after half term.
