From French …
Alongside work on phonics and the verb faire in particular this half term, 7JB did a couple of lessons on colours and some poems in French. Here are a selection of some of them:
From German …
‘A day in the life of a Presdales student’ made for our Partner school in Germany, ‘Gymnasium am Neandertal’ in Erkrath near Düsseldorf. Our sixth form A Level students arranged for Years 7 to 9 to take photos of their day and then compiled them into this book. They wrote the descriptions in German and even translated Mr Warren’s Foreward! It is a snapshot of these strange times we find ourselves in!
From Geography …
Geography are very proud to have been mentioned in a letter to Sir David Attenborough written by Year 8 pupil, Nefeli Tsamili. Nefeli wrote to Sir David about her love of all things to do with the environment and the planet. She went even further by writing a poem about the environment. She was absolutely thrilled to receive a signed photograph from Sir David acknowledging her great work.
Well done Nefeli.
You are a Geography star!

A message from Barracudas
We know it’s been really tough for parents and children working from home and home schooling, so we’ve put together a virtual half term camp with activities available online led by some of our fantastic staff!
We’ve also added some more free resources to our website with fun activities children can try on their own at home. Entertaining children and keeping them active in the school holidays is what we do, so we thought we’d help out this half term and make the holiday more enjoyable for kids and easier for parents.
Our timetable of events is below, plus we’ve included below the links needed to join the activities.
