Attendance and Punctuality
Good attendance is a prerequisite for success in school and we carefully monitor the attendance of students. Please help us to support your child and ensure that they achieve as well as they can through excellent attendance at school.
School Absence
Parents/carers are asked to advise the School by telephone or email each day when a student is going to be absent.

Students who display persistent absence will be discussed at meetings with the Pastoral Team.

All requests for absence should be made in advance using this Google Form. Parents/Carers will then receive an email response advising whether the absence will be authorised or not.Requests for Absence
C If an appointment cannot be made out of school hours, please email attendance@presdales.herts.sch.uk to notify us of the appointment time. Students may only leave early if we have previously been advised by a parent/carer by email, telephone or letter. Please ensure your child signs out and then back in at Reception. C Students are expected to arrive on time for school, and be on time for each lesson throughout the day. Students who are late to registration or lessons may receive a consequence.
