Welcome to our Year 9 Options Process

Please find additional information to support your decisions regarding your child’s options for GCSE. Here you will find a link to the Options Booklet and also a short video from each option subject outlining the course content and information on future pathways linked to the subject.

As outlined in the booklet below, all students will study the following Core GCSE Curriculum:

English Language
English Literature
Science
Mathematics
Physical Education (non-examination)

All students have already had a presentation on the options process in school. Over the coming weeks, they will also have an interview with a member of senior staff to support them in their decisions. Following these interviews, a google application form will be made available on this page. This will be open for three days to ensure all responses are collected prior to half term.
