Welcome to the new look PressTales

You will notice that we are trialling a new format for our fortnightly newsletter. Earlier this year we moved to a new website and as part of the package we are able to produce our newsletter using the information from the website. This should mean that the process is more efficient and also that parents do not need to download a large PDF. We intend to review how this new format has been received by parents towards the end of this term. Please be reminded that we welcome any good news stories about your children for use in PressTales. If you do have any news then please email it to webmaster@presdales.herts.sch.uk

Thank you to those parents who were able to attend one of the seven information meetings that we held over the past few weeks, one for each year group. All of the presentations that were used have been emailed out to parents, along with a link to a questionnaire. Your support in completing this is welcomed.

We have been very impressed with all of the students since they returned from their summer break. Well done to our Year 7 students in particular who, as a year group, have really impressed us with their positive attitude and resilience.

Our annual Open Evening will take place on Thursday 17th October. As in previous years, students will finish school at 12.45 pm so that we can prepare the school. We are also closed on Friday 18th October for a scheduled inset day. We do expect all students to attend our open evening, and we ask for your support in ensuring that they are available to support in subject areas or as tour guides.

Kind regards,

Matt Warren
