PressTales 29th November 2019

Dear Parents/Carers,

As we come to the end of the first week of Year 11 mocks, I would like to say how pleased and proud we are of the students. Their behaviour and attitude before, during and after exams has been excellent. The mock period is so important, as it gives us a snapshot of how well the students are doing, and where extra support and guidance may be needed. We wish Year 13 students well for their mocks, which start next week.

Thank you to parents/carers who were able to attend the recent dance and music evenings. Both events were well-attended and the audiences were provided with outstanding performances on all three evenings. I would like to thank all of the staff involved in the organisation of those evenings, including the PTA who provided refreshments at each event.

I would like to say thank you to the PTA for all of their hard work in organising the Christmas Fayre, which takes place today from 3.45pm to 5.45pm, so depending on what time you receive your copy of PressTales, you may still have time to drop in and see all of the stalls that the Year 7-9 students have created.

Regards,

Matt Warren
Headteacher
