PressTales 25 October 2019

Dear Parents/Carers,

The past half term seems to have flown by, it only seems days ago that we were welcoming our new students in Year 7 and 12. The students in Year 7, in particular, have made an excellent start. They are confident, polite and hard working. I know they enjoyed their trip away this week to the Isle of Wight, although many looked very tired on Thursday morning!

I would like to thank all of the students who supported our Secondary transfer evening last week. The evening was very successful with well over a thousand visitors. The student tour guides and classroom helpers were exceptional and this was reflected in the majority of feedback comments from those who visited. We are very proud of our school and it was a pleasure to show off what we our doing.

'I liked the tour. Our guide was very good at telling us where we were and what we were looking at. All of the girls are polite and were very helpful.'

'Very impressed. Lovely, happy girls who are all very enthusiastic about their school.'

We hope that all of the students will take time to rest and relax next week, especially those students in Year 11 and Year 13 who will be taking their mock exams next half term.

Thank you all for your continued support, I wish you a safe journey if you are going away over half term.

Regards,

Matt Warren
