This must have a sleeve or full shoulder (spaghetti straps or vest tops are not permitted). 1, 2 & 3 must be worn with smart, closed-toe shoes or ankle boots (with a low heel for health and safety reasons) •Sixth Form lanyard must be worn at all times Our aim is to establish a clear distinction between what is worn socially at weekends, and in the evenings, and what is worn during the working week. Remember that sixth formers set an example to the rest of the school. The judgement of the Head of Sixth Form in matters of interpretation of the Sixth Form dress code is final. Students’ appearance will be monitored by their tutors; they will be reminded of our regulations and expected to conform. Sixth Formers are required to dress smartly and be presentable at all times.
A matching suit or combination of:
1. Tailored trousers (not leggings/jeggings)
or
2. Any skirts must be of an appropriate length and must not be made from a thin, stretch fabric (the fabric must be thick enough to not become translucent when stretched). To be deemed an appropriate length, the hem of the skirt must not be higher than where the student’s fingertips reach when their arms are flat against their side. Any skirts with hems that are higher than this will be deemed inappropriate and the relevant sanction will be issued.

3. Smart tailored dress, of at least knee length, if worn with tights, these should be plain in colour and pattern freeFor all Sixth Form students
•No facial or visible body piercings, other than earrings which have a butterfly back with a maximum of 2 in the lower ear lobe
•No visible tattoos
•Hair dyed other than a completely natural colour is unacceptable, hairstyles should be appropriate for a smart office environment and must not be extreme in style or length. No extreme hair colours or hair styles
•No jeans, or leggings, hoodies, sweatshirts, vests or T shirts
•No trainers, canvas shoes, platform boots or Dr Marten boots
•Shoulders and midriffs are not to be exposed
