Russian Revolution Exhibition

Wednesday, 14 June 2017

On Wednesday 14th June, a group of year 10 and 12 Russian and History students went to the British Library to visit the Russian Revolution exhibition. This exhibition was put together by leading experts in the field to mark the centenary of the Revolution. We were all assigned character cards ranging from Rasputin to Lenin, on whom we gathered information at the exhibition. It was a great opportunity for us all to engage with the history of the revolution in a fun and interactive way. What we have learnt will not only transfer into our school work but also into our appreciation of the Russian culture. We would recommend this exhibition to anyone interested in Russian history. It runs until the 29th August so don't miss out!!
