The Summer Exhibition for Art & Photography 2016
Friday, 01 July 2016
We are proud of all our students who deserve the highest praise for working so hard and producing such beautiful work this year. The exhibition had a record numbers of visitors and staff attend. It celebrated and showcased the excellent work of our 73 AS/A Level Art & Photography students. There was a variety of techniques and media to see from watercolour, technical draughtsmanship to expressive acrylic paintings and bold pastel work. In the Photography, we saw digital techniques from colour popping, distortion and image layering to hand manipulated pieces that inspired the spectator. NADFAS officials loved our show and for the second year running have selected eight pieces to be put forward for exhibitions in The Mall Galleries and at The Lloyds Register Building in early 2017. The selected students will be given the title of Royal British Artists.
We wish all our students good luck for their exam results in August and send best wishes to our Year 13 students who are leaving us.
