Product Design News
Thursday, 10 December 2015
For the first time, the Year 10 Product Design students designed and made their own Christmas decorations (£1 each) and sold them on Thursday 10th December with all of the proceeds going towards the school charity, The A21 Campaign. After a few weeks of designing on the computer using 2D Design, they manufactured a batch of their product using our department laser cutter. They had to consider the saleability of their design idea and the group packaging. On the day of the sale, the students sold all of the one hundred and fifty products making the project a huge success. Well done to all of the students involved, please look out for our next exciting project in 2016!
